True Partner joins Break-out session at Pensioen Pro 2023 seminar

Discussions about developments, challenges and intricacies of the upcoming transition

On Tuesday 10 October, Pensioen Pro will host the Investor Council 2023 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The event focuses on various developments and challenges for the Dutch pension funds, not least the intricacies of the upcoming transition following the Wet Toekomst Pensioenen (“WTP”). The seminar full of keynote presentations, break-out sessions, a panel and networking opportunities with peers is designed to give the attendee more insight into how to deal with this transition.

True Partner Capital joins the discussion in Break-out session

During the session "Navigating the road ahead – tackling investment risks during the transition" Robert Kavanagh, Head of Investment Solutions at True Partner Capital, speaks about transitioning to the new pension system creates a near-term valuation event with very long-term implications. As funds seek to achieve a fair and smooth transition, how should they think about market and event risks? How can they evaluate the impact on different age cohorts? How should they communicate about possible risks?

At True Partner Capital, Robert works with the trading and research teams to deliver effective solutions and insights to clients. Prior to joining True Partner in 2019, he spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was an Executive Director and senior investment professional in the AIMS group, which managed over $200bn. He is a CFA charterholder and holds a First Class BSc in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Bristol.
